Patrick Mehaffy

Pat graduated from Texas Tech University’s School of Law in 2016, where he divided his time between his studies and clerking at a local law firm that handled high stakes criminal cases. For undergraduate, Pat also went to Texas Tech University – he graduated a year early with honors, and his mock trial team placed 3rd in a national competition his senior year.

Pat joined Skelton Woody after spending the early years of his legal career at the Texas Attorney General’s Office, where he worked on defending state agencies in tort litigation lawsuits and on ruling on requests relating to the Texas Public Information Act. Pat’s practice at Skelton & Woody focuses on insurance defense.
